Ronell Kirkley was one of the founding hearts behind The Sleeping Bag Project NYC. From the very beginning, he showed up with purpose, dedication, and a genuine love for the people this organization was built to serve.
Ronell played an instrumental role in shaping the early direction of TSBPNYC, helping to lay the groundwork that continues to guide our mission today. His belief in the dignity of every person, housed or unhoused, was the kind of conviction that moves people to action, and it moved all of us.
We are deeply grateful for everything he gave to this organization and to the community it serves. His impact will be felt in every sleeping bag we distribute, every cold night we help someone get through, and every life we touch going forward.
